    Posting a signature image.

I'm not much of an internet guru, in fact, I'm just learning. I know how to attach images, but how do you guys add an image to your signature? Where do you host the image and how do you make it happen? I've searched the help on this site and searched the forums for past posts and don't really see alot. I don't understand html very well at all, and just wondering how/where you guys learned how to do it. I love those images with cartoon characters like cphilip and zavnut and Load_SM5 have. Maybe that's beyond my technical ability, but I'd like to try to learn.

Or you can post your picture on any post you make (best NOT to make a special one.. just add it to a normal post), right click and view properties of the picture after it is posted, and use the location you see there as the location you put in your signature.

There are other posts about this stuff too, but this should get you started... and is good reading.

Thank you Shartley - you are quite skillful - this should be alot of fun. I've got F4 illustrator, Quark Xpress and Adobe Photoshop 5.0 with a bunch of filters for Photoshop - Alien skin, Aftereffects and Gooze to name a few. What software do you use to make images?

Thank you. As for my laundry list of software, I generally do not get into all that online. I think there is a partial list somewhere here on AO though.....

          Ahhh found it....
