Freevalve engine

Has anybody heard about the Konigsegg Freevalve camless engine?

It looks to me like each valve is essentially its own independent electropneumatic spool valve.

Can somebody smarter than me set me straight on this?

Ussually anything koenigsing I check in on YouTube and look for something with Christian in it. He knows what he is doing and has a way of explaining it in simple terms. Drive happens to have a great series of interviews.

But the short version is each valve is controlled separately so it can do whatever the computer tells it.
