AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Thank you going home for the concern, we were fortunate to have been on higher ground here. Managed to have only a few downed limbs here and there. Realizing that we were going to be in its direct path, preparations were obviously made to protect family and friends. But I must admit that once all that was taking care of my mags and cockers were the next on the list! Please keep the people in eastern North Carolina in your thoughts as it will be a very long recovery.
At one point the Weather people were showing a path prediction and saying once it became a Tropical storm, it was heading right for us in the Upstate SC area when it was done having its way with NC and the Upper Coastal SC area. Swooped north at the last second and missed us completely. I am very glad we got nothing more than some heavy wind and light misting, especially after seeing what it did in NC.
