    eBay Seller Shipping Question/Gripe

    So I won an auction for some minimag items this past Monday. Paid Paypal as soon as I saw I won. The seller has yet to ship it. I'll give the person the weekend before I contact this person. It's starting to frustrate me a bit. I usually ship something I sell within 48 hours of receiving the payment. What does AO think? Should I wait until the weekend before contacting the seller if my purchase hasn't shipped? Or should I go ahead now? Ok, rant over.

      it depends on what the person put as the handling time, mine defaults to 3 days. so they have 3 days before they ship.
      ive seen people push it out to 10 days, im not sure though.

      and im not sure right off the top of my head where to find that info in the listing, under shipping cost maybe?

          Yeah I didn't find anything how handling time, but I have an estimated delivery date between 9/29 - 10/4. So for sure not getting here Saturday, so that's why i was thinking giving it the weekend before contacting.

              Most of my ebay purchases were notoriously slow to ship. I honestly have just been patient and waited for them to show up.

                  Well it did ship today. No more worries. I've just been used to most of my eBay purchases shipping same or next day. I guess I was lucky on those.

                      From the other side of the fence ---
                      I sell HEAVILY on ebay. To get their seller discount you have to ship within 24hrs. Great, no problem....

                      They continually tighten the rules up - latest iteration this year required offer FREE (I pay shipping) returns. That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me & many other sellers. Big program dropout. No real incentive for me to rush shipments anymore, other than delaying so long people complain.

                      Still 3+ days is a bit much. Just coloring in the story.
