If Minnesota follows the same structure as the federal government, then what is happening in the legislative branch is not controlled by the executive branch. Simple civics can explain that. And Hegseth, all loyalty tests to trump aside, he appears to have absolutely no idea of how the DoD is run, what it takes to run it and the breathe of duties is way over his head. It is frightening how unprepared he looks in answering any question on the duties of being the head of the DoD.Comment

While I know that I am in the minority, but time will show that Biden, had a very good term in the realm of president's. He accomplished a lot and there will be more that will be a direct correlation from Biden. And before anyone gets there panties in a twist. These things will always play out years after there term.
So you will say that the previous admin needs to scurry away, they will because they aren't going to commit a coup and take over the government. Don't care what he said, as it really doesn't matter much. A lot can happen in 4 years(in reality, 2-3 years as people position themselves for the next election), but just guessing. Biden might have wanted changes, along the lines of clearer and better concise wording of some of the clauses. But the key is that he wanted to go through the regular means of changes to the constitution, not removing the constitution. But since he didn't get the change, we may never know what exactly that change was.
Who is bending over? The only people I see bending over are those that pledge themselves to trump and not the country or the constitution. Or do you mean all those right wing influencers or bloggers/spokespeople who literally are taking money from Russian sources to speak direct Russian taking points? So whom are you speaking of?
Now I do support them, which is why I hope that the party gets it's collective head out of its collective rectum, see what worked with the people, what didn't, hammer on the points that the GOP has let down on the people, show the lies of the GOP, and offer up a better overall plan for 2028, which includes listening. So I support them, but I do not follow everything they do, blindly or without question. Some things I like, most things I wish they did more, and some things I hate.Comment
