The number of votes cast in 2020 has nothing to do with 2024. That is an apples to oranges comparison. Biden wasn't on the ticket and more people felt less enthusiastic with Harris.

Or, the fact that everyone has told him that the tariffs are stupid and will hurt our economy more than there's. So, he can "keep his word" on what he said, while backing off from political and economic pressure by putting a hold on it. Then do something equally crazy and stupid to another ally and/or neighbor to take the light off this and allow those supposed tariffs to quietly be forgotten.

So what was I supposed to have said? Was it about tariffs? I'm going to guess it was. So, do you wish me to explain all about tariffs? I mean, how do i do that without context, when i say that trump's tariffs are so bad? Cause 1 thing can't be good and bad at the same time. Radiation is bad, except when in conjunction with a cancer treatment. Alcohol is bad, except when it sterilizes a wound or instrument.

So, when Biden used the tariffs against China, he was doing so against specific items, solar panels(generalizing as I only skimmed the article), so that US based companies can put out a solar panel that would cheaper than competitors. Thus building up a base which, by volume instead of quality, bring down prices of panels to that of the cheaper Chinese ones. That is how or why you use tariffs. That is not how or why Trump is using tariffs, as he wants a blanket tariffs, that would cause multiple and varied products to raise in price, thus effecting the entire economy, just not one product.
