Sad day.... Looks like mags are dead. Son is finally interested in doing woodsball. What are the current alternatives that will make a former mag fanatic happy when we go play?

This forum isn't too busy anymore, but you can still find used mags elsewhere. Check out the Facebook BTS forums, Mcarterbrown.com, and even eBay. You can still buy spare parts at Airgundesigns.com. Even the most neglected mag usually shoots great after a good cleaning and a new parts kit from AGD.
That said, there are lots of other great mech options out right now. There's the Emek, Etha 3M, Shocker CVO... They're more expensive than a classic mag, but cheaper than an x-valve mag. And they're lighter and more air efficient. You might still want a mag for the nostalgia, but your son would probably more comfortable with an Emek.Comment
