      We postponed the big dinner till tomorrow. Yesterday most of kids went to their in-laws. Plus it gives us time to clear enough space.

      I'm thankful that living an hour's drive to the nearest Dunkin Donuts is very insulating from big city problems.

                      Nah. Regular Monday feeding the critters, making sure they have water that isn't frozen solid.
                      Not an exhausting chore, but it occupies a couple hours each day.
