i went to a website to a website i saw on tv last night and its turned itself into my homepage and i cant figure out how to get rid of the stupid thing does anyone know how to fix it?

I assume you're using Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools.
Then Internet Options.
On the First tab there is a section labeled "Home Page"
You have the choice of "Use Current" (uses the page in the browser as the new homepage)
"Use Blank" (Blank white page at startup, saves time if you go to many different places because you don't have to wait for something to load to go to a different page)
"Use Default" (Usually http://www.msn.com)
and lastly you can type in the address of any page you want.
When you're done click "Ok" and you should be fine.
