Alright, i think a few things need to be straightened out and cleared up.
#1 Isreal and Palestine
The history of Isreal dates not back to pre-World War II times(not as a state but as the homeland of all religions). The Ottoman empire stretched all over the middle east and controled all the Arab nations. When the empire rose against the allies in WWI, Britain bartered with the Arabs to fight for the allies against the ottoman empire, and in return they would receive their homeland (Isreal). When the ottoman empire fell in the end of the war, Britain revoked the agreement and left the arabs to clean up the middle east with little support from others. After WWII all the world felt sympathy for the jews (as they should) and granted them the homeland that was already promised to the arabs, and it was declared the state of Isreal.
That is the reason Isreal exists, and THAT is the reason Palestinians and Isrealis fight constantly. Well, that and the fact that during the six-day war, Isreal conquered parts of the area that was not included in the original allotment of Isreal(ie. The West Bank, etc.) Palestinians are fighting for their rightfull land which Isreal claimed during a war that Palestine started, but nonetheless, is rightfully theirs. No offense to you manike or any other British people here, but i think Britain should take up a larger role in the conclusion and solution to this conflict as the true beginners of it.
#2 Why do they attack us?
I'll tell you why, it's simple but at the same time very complicated. Back when Iraq invaded Kuwait, the US pushed back the Iraqi forces only to the border, why? Know the answer? Because Bush Sr. has private investment in Kuwait. All he cared about was protecting his investment in oil and keeping his popularity up. But when the war ended, and Bush stopped pushing the Iraqis back, his popularity plumitted and he lost the next election.
That was just a little history lesson, now for the present. I don't know how many of you know this, but Al Queda and all of Bin Laden's followers are Saudi Arabians. The US is very friendly with the Saudi royal family so that they provide us with adequate oil supplies to fuel our SUVs. In return, the royal family wants military support and protection, and so the CIA has been there for years. The CIA trained many Saudis to protect the royal family, put down riots due to il-treatment from the government and follow the rules and words of their rulers. Bin Laden was one of them. The Royal family does not listen to its people, it does not reform or do as the public needs, and the CIA and the US has helped it to enslave a race and the project's discharge and unwanted creations are fundimentalists like Bin Laden, who lead these people against their opressors. But these revolutionary groups were driven out of Saudi Arabia and sought refuge in countries like Afganhistan, where they would be accepted as liberators and freedom fights, like those who fought for the militia in the American Revolution. But they find that they cannot get through to the Saudi Royal family because they are so supported by their protectors, the United States. Thus they decide to give us a wake up call. And here we are
Understand i am by no means justifying any actions or reactions. I am merely trying to expose the truth, something the American media will not disclose to the general public because it would mean that Bush would have to stop his "war on terrorism". without an enemy you cannot lead a nation, without a war you cannot be liked. We need to understand that these people don't hate us for being free, they hate us for being greedy. There is nothing in the karan that says "kill an american and go to heaven". Anyone who believes that one nation or people can so strongly dispise another just because they are "free" is fooling themselves, that is the single worst possible reason i have heard. Anyone who bases all of their information from what they hear from the press, has pulled a blanket over their eyes to shield them from the real world. These things happen for reasons. 19 people don't hi-jack 3 planes and fly them into buildings for no reason.
