I am just wondering how many people here have read the Harry Potter series. I am serious. It sounds really childish, but hey who cares. Also, does anyone know when the 5th book is gonna be published?

Not I. Only thing about Harry Potter I know about was from the movie. The wife wanted to see what all the hype was about.

Ive read the first two books, though I own all of the first 3, Im currently working on reading Lord of the Rings again, so the third book is going to have to wait for awhile.
The Harry Potter books are actually very good, there not just for kids, as far as im concernd, just about anyone intrested in the type of story, will enjoy it, very well written, and quite fun.

ive read them all through at least 4 times each. i love that series and im not sure when the books comming out but i can find out really quickly once i get home so ill post it in about 4 hours when i can use the internet... i should say when my mom lets me use the internetsigpicComment

You have read the series 4 times? I've only been through twice. Xzion you are missing the best half of the series if you have only read the first two books. The 3rd and 4th books were my favorite.Go tell your mom.

LeadBasedPaint; Well, I own the first, second and third books, and will own them all eventuall. The reason I havnt started the third yet, is because The Lord of the Rings movie inspired me to read the LOTR books again, so I put the other Harry Potter books on hold for the time being. I'd read more than one book at a time, but if I do that, they tend to get a few neglected, and at points, they get all jumbled together.

Heh. I know. My message was just a reply to Xzions post. I am also a freak about the books. Just curious, do you have any theories about what will happen in later books? I am really curious about Neville. He sounds a lot like Peter Petigrew was, but then it was Voldemort's supporters who tortured his parents, so it doesn't seem likely that he would join Voldemort.
