My local AAA team the Rochester Red Wings finally gave Peter Angelos the boot and dumped the O's as their parent club.

Can't see myself rooting for the Twins though...

Guess you weren't watching baseball last year then, cause a small market team, the Anaheim Angels, won the World Series. The small market teams are winning, for example the Minnesota Twins, Oakland Athletics, and the Angels. Just because you spend the money means you'll win, look at teams like the Texas Rangers, New York Mets, or the Los Angeles Dodgers. All those teams spent money and none made the playoffs last year. Spending can help, but you have to have talent to win.
