It Stands for People (or in many cases pinheads) for the Ethical Treatment of Animals...

Okay, I'll admit that I'm a vegetarian, but that website is just full of their crap. PETA is nothing but a group of tree huggin', hemp wearing, eco-nazi's (I hope I can say that without getting in trouble). If you really watch them and their actions you will see that they're nothing but hypocrits. They ACTUALLY care more about animals than they do about people. If the ASPCA had something to do with that then there may be some credibility to that website, but they didn't. The reason I mention the ASPCA is because they are for the protection and "ethical" treatment of animals as well, but they don't go to extremes, by wanting everyone to become a vegan, and stop wearing leather, and all that other crap that PETA does.
*Stepping down from my soapbox* I hope that clears up a little bit of any question of what PETA stands for.

Ok, here's your meat, with a side of meat, and your meat to drink. ENJOY!

Ren and stimpy, right? Except when the convict was asked what he wanted to drink, he said MEAT JUICE

I figure that PETA has to be extreme. It's the nature of things. Just like religious faith. It's not as strong if it's not devout in it's belief. I do believe in the better treatment of farm animals, mainly chickens. They're subjected to horrible conditions quite often. It's not like they can be boycotted though =/

I have one question directed to PETA: If god didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them taste soooo good?

I've had some rather interested encounters with PETA at various festivals and concerts I've been to. If I told the stories you might be able to call me just a tad immature, but definitley no worse than the bullcrap they feed to the public.

The only thing PETA has going for them is that occasionally when they protest something they use hot naked women to get attention and (supposedly) their point across. If you ask me, nobody's paying attention to the pamphlets and anti-Wendy's messages when they're being dished out by naked women. If anything it would only attract a huge amount of people to the site, and chances are some of them are gonna be hungry for a hamburger.

I hate PETA and their propaganda. Were meat eaters not pansy vegitarians. i would rather see animals abused than children. i think they should focus thier efforts elsewhere.

It's funny, I was actually drinking a cold glass of 2% Milk when I was reding all of this. It tastes so good. It is funny how peta would rather kill themselves than an animal, isnt that hypocritish? Then the whole time they try to tell us to stop drinking milk for "health" reasons then it says on there about the cows in a part. Thats the only reason, they could give a crap less about your health, your not 500 pounds, black and white, and moo. I despise peta, some points they make, yes, are good, but they take it to the extreme, and screw everything up so much to where you dont even see there original idea.

I had a perfect idea, the hunters hate the peta poeople, and vice versa. Give them each guns, and put them in the woods. The hunters want to hunt soemthing, and the peta people want to kill the hunters. Problem solved.
