If your looking for a standalone amp then those are the big two I would recommend. Also, check out Marantz if there is a dealer around you. Otherwise, perhaps a stereo Yamaha reciever (less money and still great sound) would be better. I dont fully understand what you want to do, so Im just throwing out names. hah.
Well I'm going to have about 20 Gb of CD quality MP3's, a CD player, CD Burner and DVD player (eventually burner as well). All digital processing will be done internally. Then, using fiberoptic cables, it will flow to a stand alone denon Digital to analog converter. From there to a stereo reciever. It's all controlled by a 17" LCD touch screen and a remote.

Basically just trying to cram everything I normally use into one box and make it really cool looking. When I get some extra cash together I'm going to upgrade to a DVD burner and a better video card so I ditch that TIVO thing.

Yeah a yamaha would be a good idea.

Heh, what I need to do is see if anybody here want's to trade paintball stuff for stereo stuff. Don't want to just give it away, but need to clean out some room in me house!
