AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Callin all MASS players for weekend of MAY 11th & 12th
lmao...4 cases? make sure we play on the same team...my g/f wants to come and check in out too, so I may pick up an extra case of Diablo here before i go. But pnl sounds fine. Oh, and no more "old guy" comments...
hehe... no prob... it was just in fun... besides i look at how old my youngest brother is going to be on his next birthday and how it only seemed like yesterday my kids were still in diapers..... and how much i ache after playin this past sunday..... i realize i'm gettin old... but i still refuse to grow up....
as for playin on the same team.... not a problem... but at some point during the day i want to be on the opisite team from everyone... for at least one game =)
sigh... yes i plan on being a charter member of SPA (spray & pray anomyous) (yes my spellin sux)..... figure 200 or so in the haooper and warp and 9 150rd pods.... thats just a hair over 3/4 of a case.... i know going through at least 4 or 5 a game wont be a problem.... my blasted mag just wants to keep on shooting..... plus with the prices of the 3 cases i have at my house right now and the case of blaze i'll probly get off gecko it'll only be about $170 in paint but that cost will have been over 1 1/2 months which is all that bad.... so i wont mind using it all....
so i have to say when i get there is that i am there for practice..... will they want to know who i'm with or no??? or will saying that i'm really meeting up with some buds to see if we might even stand a chance in that enviorment =)
I'm not sure how picky the'll be. Last time the guy behind the counter just asked if I was playing on the Air Ball fields (the rec players generaly don't play on them). You can always say you are practising with AO Nightmare if you need to.

to all,i live 10 min from pnl and used to live on the cape i'm into playing on the 12th and if anyone needs directions feel free to pm me and i'll give directions to either place (if the plans happen to change) also i was just at pnl not too long ago and team colors is the field paint and i don't think they allow you to bring your own, but ccp does.
May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't.

well i sent an email to pnl askin about it... they said the airfield was closed for team practices for the season... and then suggested ccpb... so i may have to say i'm with you guyz....
also i sent a relpy to their email to me sayin that this was going to be kinda of a tryout day for me =) who knows.... i may find i really like it alot more then i do already....
now to work on seein if magmonkey can go..... the pike and 495 are kinda boring drivin it alone... be nice to be able to talk to someone this time =)
i sent another email askthem to clairify that.... the way i read it was closed for season for team practices... which i hope is right....
and i take it team practice day would be pretty much set teams (3 or 5) that are out there to better themselves against other teams....
so about how big is the turn out for these....
also whats the game time usally, fps limit, bunkering (thouhgh i remember that the gerbil field had a 10 and 4' rule......)
and, out of who is going, how would you want to run it.... as far as for those of us not with/part of a team....
ok i got a answer back from PnL about the indorr airball here is what they said
"no im sorry for the miscommunication, the airball fields are gone for the
year.i have taken the bunkers and moved them to capecod paintball for the outdoor season"
so now.... it looks like we should be planning on ccp unless you all want to just play on the gerbil field.... either one will work for me.... if we want to move this to ccpb or another field (hopefully one that has byop) we'll need a couple of ideas....
as far as ccpb... i'll send them an email asking about fpo or byop and other prices and such.... if fpo what type and such.... also if you guyz have any info plz post away
hmmmmm there is wolfhill paintball around me...... never been there though. It's a dedicated woods ball place, no concept fields, i have not played there. If you still want concept field style we could try Matt's Outback in Coventry Ct where i normally play. It's fpo but i bet if you gave the owner like 15 bucks you could shoot your own paint otherwise it's 60-65 a case for blaze generally has some cheaper white box stuff too. It's 10 to play (includes lunch) once or 50 to play as many times in a year as you want, compressed air is 10 bucks all day to 4500 psi . Matt's has one sup air 2 hyperball and a big woods field.
Gecko
hmm... byop on sundays there according to their site... Gecko can you 2x check on that... that and thier paint prices didnt seem that bad anyway... (i've been stuck payin 80 sence i started playin for FP)
now i guess it is up to what the others would like to do.... if not this time maybe we can plan for another date... but i may take a trip out to wolfhill before that.....
how hard is it to get to coming of the pike.... i could take 9 but that would be the long senic route for me...
I do remember that there used to be some sort of byop deal going on. I guess calling them would be the best bet. $95 for field fees, all day air, and a case of paint is $20 more than I like to spend but I'll do it.
