    FreeBSD posts!

This is one of my first posts from my FreeBSD box. I have been playing around wiht *nixes for a while on really old 386s and a 150mhz computer that I have had for a really long time. I never really had the capability to run Xwindows or a high enough version of netscape have AO let me post... but that all changed this morning. I dug up an old 600mhz box that I thought had been fried... threw in a NIC and voila!

    -----^^^^blah blah blah boring^^^^------

FreeBSD rules, and if you are looking into getting some kind of Unix, like linux or a BSD... I'd recommend it. It is super easy to install and automatically recognizes your NICs (so far it hasn't missed one)

As you can tell i'm excited....now if only game companies would produce games for bsd, I'd never have to boot up windows again!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

does freeBSD4.4 have USB and wireless networking support?thinking of upgrading my redhat6.1 box so i can use it on the internet. im looking at peanut linux right now as it will work with USB and my wireless USB network adapter. its only a 150 MB download for the iso cd images too. i wont be running x because the video chipset(mpact2) doesnt have a working x driver yet. i basically want to run a webserver, ftp, sendmail and a telnet server here from home.
