No offense, Breakcycle, but editing animated GIFs is a real pain in the you know what. Plus, with a file that large, the file size would get real big real quick.

photoshop, no, but imageready (bundled with photoshop) makes short work of it. the original needed to be shrunk to match the size of the animated clock

OR.. it could just be reduced in colors and drop the size down to only about a third of what it is now (making it only 46.6k.. but STILL a bit too big of a file grrrrr)....

i tried knocking some colors out of the palette, but the palm leaves started to look really bad, really quick
something tells me that neither one of us is going to get a 474 x 355 pixel, 12 step animated gif to be tiny AND look good

LOLROF.... After trying to both reduce colors, and reduce its size (dimensions) about 50 times, I STILL could not get anything that was CLOSE to what quality I would like. LOL SOOOOO, you are VERY correct. LOL
It is not so hard when EVERYTHING is done from scratch, but THIS way.... grrrrr
