today only(till they close they are selling their hamburgers for 29 cents and the cheeseburgers for 39 cents. I bought 8 and and a soda and it was cheaper than a value meal!

McDonalds Corp. heavily supports gun control. I don't give them my money, I don't go into their restaurants.

not all mcdonalds store owners support gun control, perhaps the company as a whole, but not all owners/operators

my dad owns 4 McDonalds stores, are you wont be able to find another man that believes as strongly against gun control

so to boycot all McDonalds' stores all together, you could be hurting some owner/operators that see things the way you do, then how will things get changed?


also, the 29 and 39 cent deals may not be in all areas, it is probably jsut your co-op area that is doing it

yes the 29-39 cent is just for that local mcdonalds. I've never heard of that deal around here. And do you think that a few people boycotting the biggest fast food chain is really going to hurt them? I don't think so.

but thats not the point, i care, i mean i wouldnt want to loose anyones business, but to boycot a entire food chain without knowledge of the actaully people that run/own the place, well i mean i think its wrong to punish single people for something that is probably out of their hands

i know how the St. Louis regional board is run, and just because we happen to live within the 100 mile radious doesnt mean that we share the views of the other owners, alot of the times, these st. louis owners have 10+ stores, dont you think that they out power my dad? with his 4 stores?

to them its all about making money, they are in a giant city, and who really cares? but my dad is in towns with 5000-7000 people, and you know what? we have to do the things that the St Louis people say, good for us or not, but we HAVE an image in these towns, and lose business because of the stupid people that dont want to make changes and dont want to rock the boat

I'm pretty sure a whole bunch of stores if not all did do the 29-39 cent thing yesterday because it was suposed to be a tax-relief day. I don't think they advertised it much though. I only wish my local McDonalds had 39 cent cheeseburgers once a week, I'd probably close the place down.....
