I think we need a new rule that most of your posts need to be bigger than you sig. I like looking at sigs because they are interesting and tell you something about the people that you are reading about. But come on people. We have some that are getting really excessive.
Think before you add it to your sig.

I completely agree! When someone's sig. takes up my whole computer screen it's just too much. I don't really worry about only putting my sig. in one post per thread because it's ONLY TWO LINES LONG!

Now, I'm not saying that everyone should have to have as short a sig. as me but I would like to see them kept to no more than 4-6 lines. Shartly's sig. is a good example of the max size I'd like to see. He gets across every thing he wants to say without taking up the entire screen.

For me, SOMETIMES, big signatures are like if a person painted the word DORK on their forhead and then I tried to talk that person. I would try to listen to what they are saying, but I just can't get past that blaring DORK on their forehead.

I kinda don't agree. I know I have a moderately big sig with words and links... Prolly around the size of majordamage's. I usually don't post very much in a post. Just a comment here and there about something. I never really pull a shartley, as I would call it.

I've honestly never really hated big sigs... there was one where someone went over board and wrote small essay with pics and diagrams..... but that was a while ago...
I LOVE Foo's sig and Majors too!

Guess I don't really care soo much, just though I'd make a vote for leaving them alone. But to each their own...looks like it's a problem to a few of ya so maybe conformity is the way we should go here?

i like seeing pictures and funny stuff in sigs, BUT im a big fan or having the right amount of stuff in em, ive got like 2 quotes and like 3 words, i dont think its too big but then again it might be, as for people with lots and lots of stupid links and stuff, i mean come on, your sig has been the same for xx number of months, lets change it and make it a little smaller and take out the links that everyone has seen already, they arent funny once ive seen em 78 billion times

i still think there should be a max number of lines permitted, i know pbc does it, i think it would be in our best intrest to do something like that, maybe make it more than what they allow, but it is a problem

i say like 10 lines, i mean i think pbc gives you like 8? maybe 5?
i cant remember, i think we should only get like 10 or 12
then you can get your 5 lines or type and a picture
