my first paintball related injury!

anyway i was a ccpb saturday and was runnin across the hyper fields and triped on the ropes on the ground marking the boundarys they were gonna use for the tourney sunday(howd ao nightmare do?) and blammmmo! the old fork in the eye,well not really i caught my foot on it at full bunker rush speed and fell on my neck....it really hurt my phantom went skittering across the ground and my hopper was completley yellow from the paint out of 75 balls in there all but 4 were broken i then got up and limped away to avoid being shot not being able to breath it more or less knocked the wind out of me, but when i returned home i had alot of pain in my shoulders and ribs i found out i cracked 3 ribs on my left side, pulled my groin and the muscle between the pec and shoulder all i can say is owwww, but i didnt scratch me phantom i guess thats all that really matters

that sucks for you thats way worse then my first injery. i just fell and sprained my ankle and broke my steal braded hose and took co2 right in my face

Sounds like you'll be down for the May 12th AO meet (or are you going to suck it up ) I generaly feel a little beat up the next day after playing paintball but never anything like that.

P.S. AO Nightmare could have done better but we all had a good time. Our last game of the was something to see. It included a running dive over the side of and into the 50 bunker to grab the flag by yours truly . My one moment of glory in a pretty lackluster day of performance for me. I'd tell you about all the great moves the other guys made but I was behind the screen in the dead box too much of the time.

I got shot in the happy zone on saturday. That really is an uncomfortable feeling. But that's what I get for not wearing a cup.

Hell yeah! Laying out on your bum is the best! I know cause I do it all the time. It hurts but we if you do it enough you become a crash gansta like me.

i think i remember a story from this one site that sort of went like that. not doubting your story but just warning you that you mignt get some critics on here.

We were playing centerflag on this one woods field, and it had a path running down the middle and a big open center.

A guy from the other team rushed out to the center in the beginning and was just outta my range...I got aggrivated and made a mad dash. He came out running, I ran parallel to him, right acrost the mud covered pathway. Well next thing I know, I hit the mud and feel right on my back/head. I was later told that I was about 3 1/2 ft. in the air before I came back down. The ref asked if I was alright...I think I just kind've mumbled and got up and shot him out w/ out missing a step.

I fell in teh parking lot at the paintball field whiel chasing a butterfly with a wet jersey sleave, and the rocks ate up my hands and kness !
Also my cousin ran me over with a pit bike a couple weeks ago, she hit me and ran me into a mailbox. I kicked that mailbox's butt OLDSCHOOL! It didn't see it coming! I bent the mailbox poll lol! Surprisingly I was fine, except my knuckle and two fingers hurt for a few days, and I have a big bruise on my arm thats either from the mailbox, or the bike lol . Everyone was like "ARE YOU OK!!!!" and I was cracking up laughing . She had been riding her seven year old brother's minibike, and you have to give it a ton of gas to move, well this one just takes a lil to get it going, well she kinda floored it, and it surprised her and she jerked and turned the wheel...it went in my direction lol . We fixed the mailbox, and the bike didn't have a scratch . She went to get her Learner's Permit today, but she failed the test. So I have another two weeks before she goes back to get it, and then thats when I'll have to start looking over my shoulder where ever I go lol.

well one time i was running to a stand up and ran smack dabb into another guy and we both fell in this huge puddle with paintballs breaking all over us laughing so hard we almost drowned(j/k) but we were crakin up pretty bad

i remember my first injury in paintball. It was around two summers ago. My friends and I were playing some games against some team players on a hyperball field. Off the break, i slipped or tripped over something and i fell flat on my stomach. My goggles flew 5 feet in front of me and my gun kinda skid into the ground. It was a pritty big field but i was in the open without my goggles getting lit up. i scrapped my forarm, injured my rist and go a whole bunch of dirt in my barrel.
