    Invader Zim CANCELED

I just recently found out that Nick will be canceling Invader Zim after episode #27. The one decent show they have and they cancel it.

    This is unfortunatly old news.

There is a nastly little rumor that Cartoon Network is considering picking up the series.

I heard somewhere that it will probably disappear because of Viacom or something burying it with shows like ANgry Beavers, Ahhh Real Monsters, etc. All the great shows Nick has stopped showing except on U-Pick Nick Toons. Of course even seeing it on nick the stupid worm turd picks something like SPongBob or Rocket Power.

sadly zim death appears to be final..

since nick owns the show (characters, stories, concept) it isn't as easy as another network picking it up, and there aren't enough episodes for a syndicated run.

jhonen was also recently quoted as stating that even though he enjoyed working on zim, it isn't something he is willing to do again in the forseeable future. so if nick decides to make future episodes they will be without jv, and that just won't be zim anymore.

he said that we can expect to see more squee in the not too distant future though, so not all is lost.
