Can we talk about Startrek here?

I dont want to upset anybody, but alot of your members are posting at www.williamshatner.com and talking about paint guns. At least thats what they started to talk about. Now they seem to be talking more about Startrek and Starwars. I just wanted to thank the people that came over and offer you a topic you seem to like, if thats ok with you?

Welcome Augie Dog...and yes this is the right place to talk general stuff. You have to confine the Paintball Talk forum to paintball related stuff such as the Shatnerball theme. But here you can be a bit lose with the topics.

... other than religion, politics and offensive stuff. Cursing and challenges and/or curcumventing to the curse filter are also fairly strictly enforced.

But inside those parameters, if you can still have fun, do so!

I never really liked the first star trek series or next generation yet i still watch it, but I have watched all of the other ones.

Kirk was the best Captain of the Enterprise in my opinion. Picard was way too happy, touchy, feely for my taste. (Not to mention allowing the "Super acting Ensign" on board.) I haven't formulated an opinion about the captain on the new Enterprise show.

I've watched a lot of Star Trek over the years and So far the best of any of them was the last season of DS9. I tend to lean toward long plots chopped up into stories more than a group of people stumbling around from one planet to the next getting immersing themselves up to their nether regions in trouble and then getting out of it. It gets a bit repetative. I still watch it all. I'm curious to see if enterprise pulls out. It started promising enough but seems to have gone into the whole stumbling routine.

I'm with ya load, DS9 was my favorite, never could get into voyager but the new show is pretty cool.
