    help for my friend

my friend jeffrey will be playing his first game of paintball with a gun that he saved up money for for like over a month. he has worked hard to get the money. the only time he ever played paintball before was like 3 years ago. we will be playing some one on one tomorrow and me and my brother are giving him some pointers. he is the youngest member of our little "club". i thought maybe all of you great AO members might have some extra advice or help for jeffrey on his first time one on one with his new gear.

If you are playing Speedball....play tight, and watch your sides. Most new players get tunnel vision and only look ahead, dont notice the guys flanking them, and get shot in the back/side. Also, always remember, if u pop your head out the side, and rip it in MAD FAST, no paintball on earth will hit u, and you can get a nice view of the field. When you are doing this, however, do not do it from the same side everytime(i might get flak for this) but also pop up over the top of the bunker from time to time(TO SEE.) Never fire over the top, it leaves ur head, ur hopper, and gun vulnerable....way too risky, unless you have a warp feed like me.

Even with a warp feed you can get hit in the hopper. It happend to me when I played, we played this really crappy speedball field and I ran to like the 40 or 45 and I saw this kid in the woods and I shot him and he returned fire and nailed my hopper even with my warp.

when ever you are snap-shooting,or looking for your oponents,do it from the bottom left,or bottom right of bunker...and never repeat yourself(like sean said)....never go over the top for anything....have fun....play tight..

and ThePatriot, you can get hit no matter how fast you come out,and go back in.....say i just shot about 10balls mid air at you,you pop out even for .5 seconds, your gonna get gogged.....

Yes, but i mean when they ARENT FIRING, paintball isnt constant fire and you know that. When the fire has ceased, if u pop up, then the person fires when they see you pop up, you can get back in safely....

                  um...not consatnt firing???

did you somehow forget about the backmen????

                  they are usually firing 24/7....

                  say they arent firing.....

you pop out.....he sees you, fires 3 shots your way(at 290fps)...given the size of your head.....asuming he has somewhat good accuray.....you still have pretty good chance of getting it....
