    Spider-man !

I just saw Spiderman today (got in before the theater was packed!) and i tell ya, you have to see it. High packed action thriller. It was based on the original Spiderman comic seriese by Marvel Comics but somewhat changed it slightly. Just amazing seeing one of my favorite superhero when i was a kid come to life on a huge screen. Must see

His web slinging ability is going to annoy the hell out of purists. There are a couple of other bits that may annoy the dedicated comic fan and I say too bad. The movie is great.

Well I am not a Spidy purist and I think they did an awsome job on the movie. Other than the complete *** whipping Spidy took.

I have the smae small gripe with this a I did with Blade 2's fight scenes in front of the flood lights, When they are using CGI modles its like they dont hold the proportions correctly through some of the moves they make. And moving at the speed its looks very unatural. But the movie as a whole is well worth the $9 + I paid, I might go see it again sunday night.

great flick, they did the comic proud.

well in the comic series, it does seem kind of wierd that Peter Parker just decides to make web shooters just because he has spider like abilities. In the movie, instead of a spider crawling into a radioactive thingy and biting Pete, they constructed 'super' spiders. If you think about it, the biological web does sound kind of logical. pressing on a certain point on your palm with the right presure which releases some kind of gland which dries immediatly when oxygen is presented. But o well, it was worth the 16 bux (paid for someone else too) and yes it was an azz kicking movie. No doubt there will be a Spiderman 2.

I liked the movie. As for the purists, they will nit pick at it but the movies was enhanced to make the general audience feel the story was more true to life.

Reading Spidey comics and watching the cartoons as I was growing up I rather enjoyed finding the differences between the movie and comic book.

Saw it last night, and loved every minute of it. The only bita that grated a little was the romantic dialouge between Peter and MJ. It got a little tiresome. I'm also curious who ended up making his costume for him. His first attempt was classic.

By the way, buying your tickets online is the way to go if you don't do it. I walked past 2 lines that ran for blocks and went right in to my seat 10 minutes before the movie.

^^^ yea I wanna know where that costume came from.
                            That movie did rock.

To all the purists: Yea somethings where off but Stan Lee is the producer so if it's all right by him I'll have to say it's all right by me.
