    Anyone here into Emo?

Well, soemtimes I think I'm the only guy who listens to Emo, also known as emotional punk. Some of the bands I dig that are emo are: Modest Mouse (all time favorite band, period), Phantom Planet, Sunny Day Real Estate, Finch, Pixies,Thursday, and the Get Up Kids. We emo kids ahve to stay together, for the fate of retro and buddy holley glasses.LOL.

But she calls him "Melmo" (she turns 2 in July)

I'm getting a little more into emo of late. Modest Mouse is an excellent band, IMHO.

I'm more of a punk/rock/metal/ska/classical/jazz/blues/country/goth kinda girl though..
          Such a sham(e).

Not sure, I might be. I donno if Ive really heard any EMO bands that I knew were EMO . I like punk, hardcore, and skacore mostly so I probably like it. I even like SOME pop punk, just not the really poppy stuff.

            ENDO!

I listen to emo. I was skimming your list, and I thought that you left out the Get Up Kids, but sure enough, there they are... Must have saved the best for last huh?

No way, they woulod neevr have boo'ed Get Up Kids, they are one of the greatest bands around, IMO. But Homegrown, they are talented guys, but nothing new. Also I just went to an Agent Orange show ehre, they played in Alaska, while not my personal taste, I was still stoked to see old school Cali punk. And yes, Modest Mouse, IMO, is thegreatest thing since bagels with that spray on cream cheese crap...OMG....goodness!

Emotional it is, punk it is not.
