Vanilla Coke

i tried some at school today.. it wasnt that bad. the vanilla part was mostly an after taste sorta like cherry coke but better. the bottle looks like its an original bottle from the 40's and 50's or in those times

I know Vanilla Coke has been sold as a specialty soda in some places but it was suppose to be officially manufactured as a regular product by Coca-Cola. After checking their site, I saw the 20oz bottle and it does have an "old style" to it.

So the vanilla taste isn't overwhelming huh?
Thats good to hear. I was afraid to try it because I was afraid that I would end up spitting it out because the vanilla was too strong. I'll give it a try.

I tried it, a friend mentioned it to me when it came into our vending machines monday. I aboslutely despise soda but am a vanilla fiend so...

The taste was good, the vanilla is sorta an aftertaste (as mentioned above) and I hated myself for taking the two gulps of it that I did before I gave it away. Haven't finised a complete soda in months (proud of myself for attempting to be healthy)

I had a 12oz today at the hospital. AWSOME!!! I'm a die hard coke person, everybody in my family is, so I thought I'll just take a risk and get it, WOW!!! Loved it, to me it reminds me of a homemade float.

Its pretty good. It tastes like regular coke, then when u stop drinking, you taste it.

I didn't like it at all, tasted like I was drinking marshmellows with my Coke. I'd prefer regular over vanilla anyday.

vanilla coke is good. i dont drink pepsi cause of the annoying song they have.

I'm a pepsi fan myself....but there used to be this place called Danny's Diner, and I would get a vanilla coke from there. I tried the new stuff this weekend. It wasn't bad, but not as good as a "custom" made vanilla coke from the fountain. I guess the human inconsistencies of mixing the coke and vanilla flavor are what make it so good. I'll probably keep drinking the new stuff though.
