    Pontiac GTO serial number

    This is a question from my dad. He has a 68 GTO and wants to know if it has the orginal engine in it. How can he find out if its the orginal? Are there any numbers on it? thanks

        Yeah I agree... that's just about one of my dream cars... They are so pimp... not necisarly fast as hell (always), but damn they got style.

              Yeah, tell your dad he's lucky as hell.

              I was driving to play paintball a few weekends ago, and i saw a guy drive by in a mint Judge, i was about to pull a U-turn and highjack his car from him
              Then i realized he'd probably kill me before i touched the steering wheel.

                pontiac also has a service where you can call and get all the original paperwork that would have come with your car. Also, if you give them the VIN # they will send you copies of the ORIGINAL sales reciepts. So you can see who owned the car first. Pretty neat if you ask me. Pontiac is the only division of GM that does this. Corvette should too but they are dummies.

                  Thanks guys. ill post pics up tomorrow. it has a 400 engine in it. we also have a 73 Cadillac with a 472 engine.
