Getting New Computer... Sugestions?

I have a buget of about 600 or 700 if i really try. i am looking for fast ionet connection, fast game play and cd burner installed.

suggest something...

Build it yourself, or have someone else do it for you. Store built computers blow.

for instance, I havent looked at parts for a while, but I bet i could build a pentium 4 1.6 rig overclocked to 1.9ghz, with 36x CD burner and 256mb DDR, and a radeon 8500 for 800 bucks

to bad you don't live near me you could have got a complete computer for 475

i got mine for 230
it has:
1.5 gig amd athlon
512 mb ram
24 x burner
20 gig and 10 gig hard drive
mouse
keyboard
17 inch monitor
64 mb video card
10/100 ethernet card


all of that good stuff for 230 my friend bult it for me and some of the parts "fell of the truck"

http://www.abspc.com I found this site very good, i got a new system w/ Geforce 4 Ti4400, 1.6 ghz athlon, 256 DDR ram, no monitor tho , or cd rom or cd burner. Anyway, i took all the parts, and found out the price if i bought them individually and put it together myself, it would only save 45 bucks before shipping, i think its a good deal, they put it together for you. I have yet to receive my system, its coming soon so i dont know if it works or not, cannot give you a review.
