I just rented GTA3 not too long ago and will now buy it!

hey i bought it yesterday and am having lag trouble. i picked up the patch, but i can only run the game on 1024x768, no AA, about 3/4 max draw distance, and EAX sound before getting laggy. the game looks great at higher res. i have 1.33 ghz amd tbird, geforce 3, 384md ddr ram.
what do you guys run yours at res wise and what kind of systems you run it on?Comment
