Me and Me gun, and lawn cutting toy...

Hey all, here are a few pics of me at my friends backyard feild,
Thats me crouching down behind a bunker hiding from enemy fire...

Me waiting for the next game to start

And that is my new toy. The mowing deck on that puppy is 5 1/2 feet wide, 23 HP, 4WD, and top speed of 28 MPH. I can literally mow my lawn in 15 min. I have 2 Acres of Grass.

*EDIT*- WHOOPS! Looks as if the salesman was full of... well you get the drift... After lookng for the manual, I found out the the tractor has 23 HP not 230. I have made a real REAR END out of myself and I am sorry. But it still goes 28 MPH.....

I'm 100% Positive it is not any way near 230 HP. That may be the Torque numbe rbut its not the HP number. The B7400 (similar to your B7200) shows 16 and 21 HP 3 cylinder water cooled diesel engines. I believe most mid range Kubota's have that engine choice. As does yours. However that being said in a tractor with the right gearing thats a lot of HP! I used to have a full size Ford 3000 series that only had 28 HP but I could pull stumps out of the ground with it. Those Kubota's are realy nice units for sure. Sure is a pleasure mowing the grass now huh?

Hmmmmmm... ::Pondering Look:: I will have to look in the manual. I am pretty shure it is more than 21 HP, but I will look. Your right though, 210 HP sounded kinda steep to me when the salesman said that.. I will lokk after dinner.

I work on tractors like that all the time and I can GUARANTEE you that it is no more than 20hp. In fact, I'll bet it's the 40ci Kubota motor that puts out 16 gross horsepower. Go pop the hood and look to see how many cylinders it is. There's a few things you can look at to see how many cylinders it has... number of injectors, exhaust ports and in some cases the shape of the valve cover. If there's three cylinders, it's probably the 40ci motor. And it also doesn't go 28mph. More like 10mph. That salesman was yanking your chain in the worst way. The Cummins 24valve turbo diesel is 359ci and puts out 235hp at the flywheel. A bit of a difference between 40ci and 359ci.

Do a little research. Here you'll see your tractor listed at 17hp.

My Uncle has a Kubota that he uses for his business(Cleans up building sites), he uses it to haul drywall, bricks, wood, cynder blocks, etc and that thing is awesome. One of theg uys who works for him part time, does welding at his work, and made him two big claw things for the front bucket that you can stack more drywall and wood on. Its pretty neat.

                            ENDO!
