Need help with my computer

OK something happened to my computer and we had to start all over (so nothing on the comp but the recovery discs. Well i re dowloaded kazaa. ANd the problem is when i click on a song i just downloaded to play it nothing happens. What is wrong with it

Sounds like you don't have a program to play the files you downloaded. Did you completly reload your os or did you do a partial install?

I dunno, When i click on the song the elapsed time just stays at 0

What type of file are you trying to play? Try opening the program you use to play the song first and accessing the file through the file utilities.

mp3 music file. I tried loading it another way and it asks what to load it with. Not sure what to select

You can find loads of freeware at twocows or cnet to play mp3's. Try downloading one and running the mp3. Hope I helped.

The problem is that you have no software to play it. Just goto microsoft.com and download the windows media player and install it. This should allow you to play those mp3's. If that doesn't work then try reinstalling kazaa.

I had that problem. for some reason, it worked when i went into the file and played it via media player and then it started workin with kazaa. It might have prematuly quit downloading and didn't get everything installed
