Hmmm, the cops around here don't seem to mind cars that aren't street legal unless they are running like straight headers and are louder than hell or somethin like that. In fact, there's this '48 Chevy pickup down the street, blown 540ci in it...pushes 1000+ hp.

Down here in Florida i dont think there is such a thing as an illegal car, they dont even inspect your car when you get your liscense or register your car
I have been behind so many cars where both brake lights are out, never seen one pulled over, peoples cars here in Fl are a mess.

I was merely pointing out that rice mobiles are often time beat up. That's a fact. Yes, it probably is faster than my car, but it's still a small fish in the automotive world, AND, we don't know if this guy/kid is even buying that car or one like it. I havent taken it to the strip yet. I am gonna take it to the chassis dyno soon so I can get the HP and trq reading. My guess for the 1/4 would be at least under 13, probably better. My mechanic drove it and told me he thought it could run a 12.Comment
