Dell's are cool computers if you don't feel like building your own or you don't know how to build your own computer. They will build you a stable and solid computer with support. If you build it on your own then you are the support. Anyways, go for 512DDR ram because everquest basically requires it to run at high levels. After that its just a matter of processor power. Basically there is not a big difference between the intel 1.8ghz and 2.2ghz. You may get a bonus on frames but after that its just a waste. I would get a 1.8ghz with a geforce 4 ti4200, 512 ddr ram(more is always better), sblive!, couple speakers, ethernet card, and they will take care of the rest.

If you built your own it would be cheaper.

Here is my next dream computer :

        Duron 1.2ghz 43$ !!!!!!!!
ASUS or ABIT MB w/ddr support about 90-100$
        512 DDR about 80$
        20gig HD 50$
        OEM Radeon 8500 100$
        Cheap sound card - 40$
        DLINk ethernet 20$
        Linux OS - FREE
Also budget 100 or so for miscellaneous parts.

Ultimate budget gaming pc, that still packs a little punch.

        Enjoy

Check this out: If you want to take the time to build it yourself, look at the prices. BTW, theres some things you could go ALOT cheaper on there(case) so you could save more or get even better parts.
