Box Car Racer?? Blink 182???

I just saw a box car racer video and i swear it looked and sounded like blink 182. am i hallucnating? or am i missing something?

Well well well u have discovered their little secret. Blink took Tom (BASS) and Travis (DRUMS) and did it old skool. Mark did nuthing but sat at home oh my god its soo late. I just ate an entire jar of big dill pickles.

Ummm, first off, Tom Delongue plays guitar. Box Car Racer is Tom Delongues side project. He had asked Travis Barker (drummer for blink) and the bassist from the dead milk men to help out, and they did. If you remember when blink was on the brink of breaking up, it was over boxcar. Mark Hoppus was worried it would lead to the end of blink, thus he and tom actually got into a fist fight before a taping of the conan obrien show. It was one fo the best perfoprmances of the kids rnt alright i ever saw. or was it first date? i cant remember! lol It is baisically a tribute band to all of ther influences, AKA fugazi, Ten Foot Pole and so on. They just dont do covers. I like it, it is alot more emotional, it should be classified as emop punk, or i guess you could call it emo core. but it is an awesome cd, i reccomend you pick it up. There are much better songs in the cd than I feel So.
