Sometimes being in the military is the worst job. You spend 8 hours (on a good day) busting your rump on the flightline to fix 20 year old planes while it's 90 degrees and 100% humidity out. Then, after you've pulled 5 12-hour days during the week, you've got to pull weekend duty and work two more 12 hour days on Sat. and Sun. Then, maybe you get 1 comp day. The pay sucks, base housing sucks, you and everyone else get punished when one person f's up.
    Yeah, real freaking satisfying...

But other times it's really cool--and I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything.

Sounds like my dad's job phazeshifter. He works for Chevron USA in Intercoastal City, Louisiana working on helicopters. He gets paid good but he busts his hump like you working 15-18 hour days and quite a bit of overtime. I feel sorry for him but he doesn't know how to take a break.

Do like he did, get training from the Army (he was a crew chief on a Huey in Vietnam) and take it to the real world to ownerize in the job market.

That isn't that repetitive though, I mean you get new problems with each caller right. That is one of the worst things about telemarketing, I have to read the script that they give word for word. Now that gets repetitive.

I am only 15 so I just work at my dad's office. I usually go online and put crap he wants to sell on e-bay and monitor how things are going with them....it's easy but really repetitive.

Thats what I thought at first. Until all this week I have recieved the same call for the exact same fon, for EVERY SINGLE CALL. And its a problem with the fon so I have to go ahead and exchange it. And at the end of every call you have to read a verbatim statement, and that gets incredibly repetitive.
