Thats funny... a friend and I stumble across one of these about a year ago... didn't know what it was. There was some paper, some pens, a can of un-open parmesean(sp?) cheese all sorts of stuff. It said cache on it in bright orange letters. I didn't know what it was at the time.. but just the other day it clicked. I was in chat and RobAGD put the link up in chat. I checked it out and low and behold... there it is.
Meaning of the story.. I can found a cache without a gps
Anyway..I just bought a digicam, and a gps was next on my list. Who knows. Anyway..check em out.. I even put a link on my site

Small world, made smaller by GPS. How cool that there are others here that cache too!
I just upgraded my GPS from an older Eagle Accunav Sport to a new Magellan Meridian Platinum. I use mine for hunting and fishing as well and cache-in'. There's a decent number within 20 minutes driving from me in zip 14568. actually there are a good deal of them around here.
Some are pretty challenging terrains.
I love my new Magellan. This thing is so much better than my Eagle. And yes it has all the toys, but I'd still reccomend that line up of units. Extremely accurate units.

Hmm, barrel plugs, lanyards, PB oil, and other such stuff might be awesome to leave in a cache (for the purpose of promoting paintball). I think I might just have to pick up a GPS sooner than I expected to. Now that I have some recommendations for GPS units, I might soon be on my way to more outdoor fun.Originally posted by RobAGD

I have gone on a few GeoCach hunts with a friend of mine, There was one that was listed on GeoCach at a local park with the hint "find at night with bright light", You had to look for it at night because there were Glow in the dark arrows painted on rocks pointing to a 35mm film can hidden in a fake rock and a flashlight was need to activate the paint.Great Traders: RogueFactor,DoobieComment

man someone geocached this thread from the dead...
yep, went out a few times this past weekend, on some new treks.
Did one down on High Tor near Bristol, NY. Excellent hike and found some neat things and left a few things.
