Hey is there anything i can download to get rid of pop up add's on the comp? i keep getting really annoying adds that i dont want. Such as porn adds keep poping up and its really anoying. ANyone no were to get 1?

If you want something to also remove anything from your computer ad companies might put there you might want to check out Ad-aware. It free from lavasoft. It will take off all the spyware that ad companies put on your pc to track where you go.

I have guidescope. It works great. Very rare to get banner or pop-up ads now (well the ad stil pops us, except there's a grey box* in place of the advertisement). Some people have expressed concern over the fact that all your surfing goes through them, so they can filter the ads, but if I remember their privacy policy (which I read over a year ago) it shouldn't be an issue.

Is not just porno sites. Alot of gaming sites where you can download roms and emulators are brutal too. They just don't stop. I spend most my time on forums anyways so it's not bad at all."If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."

www.weather.com has popups and so does www.hotmail.com it's a very widespread problem and I've even been infected by stuff that really does something to you system. gator something or another was one of them and comet cursor was another... I did get a note.. but quick clicking was faster then the notice and I clicked OK on the notice by accidentComment
