I've had 5 Volvo's, all were bought used. The one my son's driving (a 940T) has 258k and is still going strong!

Our old 240GL has 230,000 on it :-)

But we just got a 2002 Cross Country to replace it

I know a chap who's 240 had something like 273k on it. He was still using the original hose clamps!
