Instruments anyone?
Just wondering if anyone here picked a musical instrument, and how long you've been playing it? I play drums (set) and have been playing for 4 yrs now..

Drums - Dad got me started with them when I was about 4, 16 now.
Electric guitar - About 3 months
Acustic guitar - off and on for about a yearLife would'nt be life without any fun, thats why theres paintball... Get tired of paintball... try extreme downhill mountain biking... get tired of that... take off your breaks and try it again... still not having fun? No? Your crazy...Comment

I play bass, been playing about 3 year, and I play at church. I also got an electric guitar a little after christmas(a B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock) and Im no good at that
, and I like to play the drums, although im not very good at that either

I played tenor sax for about 3 years or so...
Now I want to learn how to play the fiddle. You can get a "starter" violin for $150, then I have to get it fiddle-tuned, and find someplace for lessons... for some reason I don't think I'll be getting around to it

Fiddle/violin is NOT an easy insturment at all. I wish I played the guitar for 6 years instead of the violin.Comment

Been playing guitar since I was 15 (that's for more than 25 years!) Sometimes seriously. They collect more dust than get played these days, though.

i played the trumpet & cornet a while ago, I think i played it for 4-5 years, don't remember but i was pritty damn good. Key to playing some good cornet is good posture, good breathing, strong ombisher, holding the intrament properly and learning all your octives .
