text in signature

for the love of pete people, get rid of some of it. common find something good (1 or 2 lines worth) and leave it at that. It's getting plain out of hand. Add to that a pic that is too big and you've got a complete fill of my browsing screen.

i voted 6 lines, i think that anything that wants to be said can be in 5 or 6 lines of type, anthing else and it should be in a post not in your sig

now are we talking 6 lines of type and a sig? cause that can be just as big with some pics

i'm thinking it's about time to make AO's unwritten sig rule into written law. throw in some temp bans and sig problems will be a thing of the past.

it's not written anywhere (that I know of), that's why it's an unwritten rule.

maybe thats what it was, i thought cphillip said something about it being written but i guess it was unwritten, well i think its about time that people realize that its common curtousy(sp) and so it should be a rule for those members with slower modems

anyways, its annoying as well

alot of peoples sigs are too large
thats the problem

but anyways, for those of you who have to ask, 6 lines is 6 lines however you use it is up to you

6 lines, or equivalent pic. No animations, quicktime, flash, jumbo pics, or 10+ lines sigs.
