aim+ is a mod of aim that adds a few nifty tricks. you can clone aim. this means you can log on 1 name, and log on under as many names as you'd like without logging off your other names. you can keep logs of all your chats. you can also get rid of the little ad at the bottom of the aim box. its pretty cool.

yea, i tried big o software but my net is gay and it wont lemme go to it... trillian is cool..u can get dif skins and everything

I personally use gaim (which is aim for *nix, and not made by AOL), but Trillian is cool in that it will let you sign on to all the instant messenger services simultaneously.

I've seen people who use AIM+ never used it myself.

But I don't see the use, since you can remove the ads from normal aim, by opening the file "aim.odl" and commenting out the lines with "advert" in them. Just use semicolons at the beginning of the line you want to comment out.
