I'm trying to do what i read from some ppl who said that to determin bps they get to a screen where u can count the number of blimps between the seconds. How do u get there and do u need a special kinda software to do it?

first you need to digitally record a series of shots. then using almost any piece of software designed to edit sound files you need to view the audio waveform, isolate a 1 second area and count the number of distinct peaks, that is your bps. -
Like this "1, 2, 3, 4" and so on. Use fingers and toes, it helps
