This homeless dude...

This guy came up to my dad as he was walking up the driveway and didnt ask for money or anything like that, he just asked for food. So dad makes him a couple fat sandwiches, he thanks us politely, mom comes out asks where hes headed, where hes from, and where hes stayin tonight. He said he was heading to washington, said he was from Tiwana, and he was staying wherever. Then he was like "god will help me" and left.

Usually I don't care about any homeless person...hmm i dunno I guess it was just the way he asked for food. Strange...

thats was nice thing your parents did. if a homeless dude came up to me and asked for food i'd try to make a few sandwhiches for them even though i suck at it but there arent really much in the way of homeless people around here

That's good you helped him. I remember seeing an episode of Unsolved Mysteries where a stranger came to these elder folks home in Florida who didn't have much money. The guy asked for something to eat and they gave him some food and when he was leaving, they gave him all the money they had in their house, though it wasn't much. That Christmas, those people got a check for I believe $500, and a check for every following Christmas afterward. It was a good story.

That's mighty nice of your family. If someone asked me for food I'd hook them up, but that doesn't happen to me. I usaully get asked for spare change. Which sux for them cause I only carry hundreds.

I had someone ask me for spare change for a 4 pack out side of the liquor store. He then proceded to tell me about how he was in the Air Force(I was in uniform). I told him no, and then he asked me for one of me and Wingman's beers. I about laughed in his face.

I have a relative that took care of a old homeless man and when he died he left he BIG BUCK and a HUGE house. Just goes to show that a little kindness never hurts. And the Bible says "If your brother is hungry, feed him."

Man, I feel sorry for homeless people. But in some ways I don't. They come begging for money and food, but yet they have no job. I think that is kind of like 'leaching'. I say that because they feed off of other people.

Thats just my opinion.

Well not everywhere is willing to hire someone who most likely doesnt have a college degree, maybe not even high school. Plus would you want a job if you had no where to go to after work let out??

I usually stay clear of homeless people. When you said you gave him a sandwich I though of the time in Scary Movie when she gives the homeless guy a sandwich and he throws it back at her. Funny stuff

when i become a multi trillionare im gunna hire a bunch of homeless people that do stuff on my mansion which covers all of mars and have them live there and have professors teach them stuff and give them college diplomas and then they can work in r&d for big bucks!

I live in portland, which is the runaway capital of the country and there are tons of homeless people who have very little shame. My solution? I pretend to speak Russian. Works like a charm. Ever met a Russian bum? Me neither. I tried speaking Spanish once, but they guy I did it to knew it, also!

FutureMagOwner, that sounds like a great plan, provided you can keep them off drugs and booze, which is the reason most people are homeless in the first place, but enough of that. When will you become CurrentMagOwner?

o man...if a bum ever asked me for food i wouldnt make him a fat sandwich id give him a fat eF you......i hate bums...my town is flled with them....i cant stand them....always doin coke an drinkin......the only ting funny about bums is bum fights....go to bumfights.com....rufusthe stuntbum is god.......if i evergave a bum anything it would be because he did somthing i told him to like go start fight with another bum of go do somthing stupid...
