My mothers Oldmobile caught fire while it was parked also, though the fire stayed under the hood. It was caused by an internal short in the battery.

wasnt too impressed with my last ford(99 windstar) was basically a roach after 27000 miles. many many recalls.
neighbors new stang left spots on the driveway.

had a k car once super roach.

AND just recently I heard of another one doing the same thing. Guy gets out and ten minutes later he aint got no more Ford. Some of their vehicles have more recalls than sales.

I'm no patriot, but I'll back American cars any day. Mustangs have sucked since Shelby stopped doing his thing (except that new insane-priced car they're coming out with), Chevy has depressed me in recent years but they ruled the musclecar market, and Dodge not only makes the Viper, but once upon a time also the Challenger and Charger. Don't forget the Pontiac GTO, LeMans and Trans Am as well.
