who all hear listens to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and what do you think of there new CD?



i like it alot, but it's still now where near as good as Blood Sugar Sex Magik, to me thier new new cd sounded alot less entergetic compared to BSSM or even californacation for that matter

yeah i like 'em. scar tissue and under the bridge are really good songs.

I used the marquee there cus it was a better use of space. I would be using blink and a bunch of other anoying html codes just cus its hard to read, but most are disabled.

Redhots are a great band with an amazing bassist.. Flea is amazing. Their new c/d is "decent"..

the first time i heard the RHCP i was watching a skateboarding movie called Thrashin. in one scene thes guys go to a skate party type thing and the camera swung and showed this band for less than a minute. the bass player was totally spastic, the singer was banging his head and the music they were making was the best thing i ever heard in my whole life. i watched the endcredits of the movie 2 times to see if i could find out who they were. they were there. The Red Hot Chili Peppers.this was @ 1986-87. i made it my mission scouring record stores to find an album by them. the first one i bought was Uplift Mofo Party Plan. i highly recommend it, along with Freaky Stylie and Blood Sugar Sex Magic.also get your hands on their first self titled album.
One hot Minute was disappointing, but aeroplane totally rules. the transition flea makes between the slap lines in the verses to the smooth, tremelo laden chorus is sublime.

yeah now that i think about there CD is a little better than Californication (minus around the world claifornication other side and parrel universe)

I definately like thier old stuff (Blood Sugar Sex Magic / Mother's Milk) better than thier new stuff.
