Computer adds and all that stuff

I got a quick question for all the computer people on AO.

How in the world do i remove these pop up adds from my computer. Heres a quick list of the crap thats been coming up.

Browsing sites like AO random adds come up
My home page is constantly changing to adds
Theres more stuff im probly forgeting (its late)


Ive tried everything, emptying cookies, defragmenting, disk clean ups and more...

Please HELP!!! im sure this would be helpfull to other people too so spread the knowledge if u know how to remove and stop these adds

http://www.downloads.com get something called ad-aware, it finds all the things causing popups and removes them. However....if you remove them all Kazaa will not work, you cannot mess with the kazaa popup files.

I use Guidescope. It works great. It is now extremely rare for me to get pop-ups now.
