Actually, there is a little trick to make a posted image "safe"... find a thread that is normally going to STAY on AO, and the next time you make a relevant comment, post the image with it.

Then you can not have to worry about your new thread, and you can actually delete it.

That's a good idea, thanks for the tip! How do you delete a thread, just out of curiosity?

edit you original post. there is a delet box toward the top, but make sure to hit the check box too.
someone posted an official sig pic thread a while ago. you might want to try posting it there.
