A friend of mine brought one of those back from the Middle East. It was called a "nargeula" (sp?). He also had the charcoal and the special tobacco you use with it. The tobacco is very sticky and nasty but it tastes great. I don't smoke cigarettes (just a nice cigar once in a while) but this was nice. You had to be very careful or the nicotine would overwhelm you very quickly.

Hahahah, I stopped working-out after the first week and 1/2. Its to freakin hot here to workout, this heat drains you. Im still 240, Im going to fail my wiegh in, but Im going to do the body for life when I get back.....I have no choice but to workout since I'll be on the fatboy prog. :/

The huke is cool, I hate smoking but this thing tasted good with the apple tobaco I'll post more pic when I get home........

Im doing TCN escort. This base is one giant construction site and they dont trust tcn's to work on there own, so I baby sit them. They are all usually good people or dont act up. They know if they do something stupid they will get fired, but first turned over to the Kuwait military...were they beat the crap out of them for whatever it is they did, lol. Thats only in bad situations though...like if they attacked a troop or soemthing. Anyways, its ok, but sometimes we get stuck outside for 8-12 hours in 120+ degree heat, it sux bad. The other day it was 123 in the shade, thats almost everyday and when its night time and its only 105 out, it feels nice, LOL. Its only a 45 day tdy so its not a big deal, its cool that I got to serve here, even if its just escort duty.

Gotta love all the free water, though! I feel your pain Hemlock. We're both stuck in a sandbox hellhole. How're the tents there? Do they even have tents where you are, or are there permenant buildings? Anyway, tent city sucks.

Our quarters are tents but they are turning the base into a permenant short tour assignment. We have alot of perm buildings here, infact, we have a huge village that was just built for quarters to replace the tents, but they wont be used until after I leave, arrr! But 80% of the base si still tent city, as you can see in that one pic I posted. Im glad the tents atleast have A/C though.
