are they pimps or what, my family has had season tickets for like the last million years, its about time they turn it on and get some players, scott rolen = pimp, chuck finley = pimp

are those some good trades or what, anyways just thought i would share and make sure everyone knows they are at least gonna win the pennant

The trades aren't going to make much of a difference besides the Finley one. They'll make the playoffs, but won't win the penant, the Braves will , they've been on a tear. Rolen is good, but he won't turn them into a championship caliber team. They'll still lose in the first round of the playoffs. No pitching=no winning, they don't have much pitching besides Morris and Finley, and their no Johnson-Schilling duo. Their bats will only take them so far until pitching prevails.

the cards are pretty good. Finley is pretty old though. The would have more pitching if DK hadn't died.

Whoever is a met fan should be mad. Yanks gave tor. no one for Mondesi. some minior leaguers. Mets could of gotten a outfielder which they need.

Whoever said the stuff about the Yanks giving nothing for Mondesi is totally off. They did give nothing really for him, but there is a reason for that, Toronto wanted to dump him since he isn't that great for the amount he makes. He's one of the highest paid players in the league and he isn't even an all-star. Yanks are probably the only team that wanted him because they can afford to get him, Toronto wanted to get rid of him so bad they're paying some of his salary still. All Mondesi has is his arm and some power, nothing else. And as for not saying the Yanks are about money, is totally bogus. Jeter and Soriano are probably their only two good players who've they've actually brought in through the farm system, not with their wallet.
