    Trade making me nervous

Ever do a trade that made you nervous? I just did a marker trade with a member of this community, old "project" cocker for a tippmann. He was supposed to ship today, I shipped on tuesday and it got to his house today. I haven't heard a peep for him since we agreed on the deal, but I guess I should give him some more time. (he had to use the tippmann for a practice on wed, and said he was gonna ship today, he also said that he needed the cocker for a tourney this weekend, so I decided to be a nice guy =\) He hasn't been online for the past couple of days. Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest.

Not so much a trade (unless you consider paying cash for something trading), but I got an Autococker body off eBay, sent the payment minutes after the auction ended, and waited 3 1/2 weeks for the body to arrive. It turned out ok, but it did scare me. Fortunately, all the people I've dealt with on this forum were A+ in my book.

For the most part I've had nothing but good luck on this forum. The one time there was a problem the other person made it right in the end so there were no hard feelings.

If your unsure of a guy, make him ship first or 3rd party.

I do alot more deals than most on the forum and have NEVER been ripped off. Either the person ships first or we do 3rd party. (Usually I DEMAND they pay for 3rd party as well) If they don't like it, no deal.

                    And by the way,

                    "two words

                    MAIL FRAUD"

Its not worth the legal costs and troubles for a $100 gun.

Even on a $1000 marker its usually not worth the legal fees. You have to figure out airfare, hotels, etc. On top of court fees..

Your best bet is to see if his local law enforcement can take care of it for you.

And most 'scammers' don't fall for the "I am going to have you arrested" thing. Go look on PBNation or PBCity if you don't believe me.
